Meet The Pastor
Pastor Jeff Tackett
Pastor Jeff Tackett has been the Senior Pastor of Wise County Cowboy Church since 2016.
Pastor Tackett was born into a strong Christian family and was raised to believe that God answers prayers of great faith. From circumstances that surrounded his birth to a tragic bull riding accident that nearly ended his life in 1989, Pastor Tackett’s parents taught him that Jesus still works miracles today. Throughout his life, Pastor Tackett has witnessed, firsthand, the miraculous grace of God in his life.
In 1993, at the beginning of a professional career as a bull rider, God called him to preach. For over 30 years, Pastor Tackett has preached the Gospel of Jesus Christ around the country, having a passion to see people come to Salvation through faith in Jesus as their Savior.
Pastor Tackett is married to Quinda Tackett and together they serve by leading the Wise County Cowboy Church to be a Spirit-filled and Gospel-centered church that is on fire for the Lord Jesus Christ!
